FAQ

Q: In what file formats are the beatmatch.info releases available?
A: We currently support Wav and Aiff file formats.

Q:I’m not sure what to do once the libraries are downloaded. I am not familiar with .rar files, any suggestions?
A:RAR is a archive file format, to unpack the libraries use Winrar (Windows), The Unarchiver (OSX).

Q: I see that all the loops and samples on the site are for non-comercial use only, what does it mean?
A: It means that you can’t use our loops and samples in any commercial works (music for adds, multimedia projects, flash presentations, record labels).

Q: Ok…so where can i use them instead?
A: You can use beatmatch.onfo releases in your tracks released under creative commons license in non-commercial netlabels etc.
You can also use our loops and samples in your live & dj sets, tracks you putt on myspace, etc.

Q: That’s cool but i really want to use your loops in my commercial work.
A: That’s great, but contact us first and we will work something out. Several producers already used our releases in their commercial works.

Q: How often do you release new material?
A: Usually we put out new releases once a month. To get the latest news just subscribe to our RSS feed.

Q: I made a track using beatmatch.ifno releases, can i submit it to the podcast.
A: Sure send it to us and if we like it we’ll play it on a next podcast.
